About Rachel

As long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand. I spent my childhood drawing anything and everything I was interested in, but my main inspiration has always been from nature.

This love of artmaking led me to Auburn University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, and later to the Savannah College of Art and Design for my M.F.A. in Painting. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats: art consultant, gallerist, educator, and, of course, artist. I’ve had the pleasure of showcasing my work at events like Atlanta's "Spotlight on Art" and Charleston’s The Scouted Studio Emerging Artist Showcase. I've had the honor of exhibiting my work around the globe, from New York City to France, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

Then came marriage to a golfer! I painted a golf course scene as a gift for my husband’s office, and before I knew it, his colleagues and friends were asking for their own golf-inspired pieces. That’s how The Golf Course Artist came to life.

Now, I’m on a mission to create vibrant, contemporary art that celebrates golf courses and the pure joy of the game. Whether it's your favorite course or a beautiful scene from the green, I’m here to bring that golf magic to life!
